Sometimes we need to update an app. These are the main reasons:
There is a software update, e.g. new features or bug fixes.
Customer asked us to change the app icon.
Customer asked us to change the splash screen graphic.
Customer asked us to change the app name, short description, or long description.
In the next three steps we will go over how to update an app. We will use the Kanban board called "Orda App Updates."
In Kanban Column 1. Build Update, check the Kanban ticket to see what was updated.
If there is a link in the ticket to new app screens, download the new app screens folder.
Go to Orda Dashboard -> Publish. Add a new version. Comments can be "Update app" or more specific.
In Publish, click the Build Tools icon in the top right (the one with green highlight below).
2. Click Build Android and Build iOS.
3. Keep checking the status. Once Google says done, you DO NOT need to click download like when you released the app. When Google is ready, go to the next step.
